How It Works

Clear expectations from the first conversation.

Every engagement begins by understanding the work and agreeing how both sides will collaborate. Nothing starts until the arrangement is clear.

The process

Four steps, in order

The steps are the same for individual support and scoped delivery. What changes is what gets agreed in the second step and how the work runs in the third.

  1. Understand the requirement

The first conversation is about the work itself. We will typically ask about:

    • The business objective behind the work
    • Your technical environment
    • The skills you think it needs
    • Your existing team and how it works
    • Desired timing
    • Expected engagement duration or project scope

A message starts a conversation. It does not reserve an engineer or guarantee availability.

  2. Agree the engagement

Before work begins, both parties agree in writing:

    • The engagement type
    • Responsibilities on each side
    • The scope of work
    • Communication expectations
    • Commercial terms
    • How work is reviewed and approved
  3. Begin the work

How work runs depends on the type of engagement.

Individual support contributes to your existing work, under the arrangement agreed with Talenvora Technology Partners.

Scoped delivery follows the responsibilities and deliverables agreed with the firm.

  4. Review progress and invoicing

Progress and deliverables are reviewed in the way the agreement sets out. Depending on the engagement, that may mean approving timesheets or signing off milestones.

Talenvora Technology Partners invoices your company under the agreement.

The commercial relationship

Who contracts with whom

The engineering work is subcontracted. In plain terms: your company signs one agreement, with Talenvora Technology Partners. The firm then engages and pays the independent engineers who carry out the work.

Day-to-day technical collaboration follows whatever the engagement sets out, such as who joins which meetings, where work is tracked, and how reviews happen.

Your company holds a service agreement with Talenvora Technology Partners, and Talenvora Technology Partners invoices your company. Talenvora Technology Partners separately engages independent engineers as contractors and pays them.

Engagement differences

Same process, different shape of work

Individual engineering support

An engineer joins the work your team already owns. Your team sets priorities day to day, within the skills, duration, and collaboration arrangements agreed with Talenvora Technology Partners.

It suits work that is ongoing or still taking shape, where flexibility matters more than a fixed list of deliverables.

Request Talent

Scoped technical delivery

The work is defined up front. The agreement records the scope, dependencies, who is responsible for each part, and the deliverables you will review.

It suits work with clear edges, where you would rather review outcomes than direct the work day to day.

Questions

Practical questions

Who is our contractual counterparty?

Talenvora Technology Partners. Your service agreement is with the firm, not with individual engineers. The firm separately engages and pays the independent contractors who work on your engagement.

Is this permanent recruiting?

No. We provide engineering services through engagements with the firm. We do not place candidates into permanent roles on your payroll.

Can we begin by discussing an uncertain scope?

Yes. Many conversations start with a problem rather than a specification. Part of the first step is working out whether the need is best handled as individual support or as scoped delivery, and what would need to be defined first.

How are rates and payment terms determined?

Rates and payment terms depend on the type of engagement, the skills involved, and the scope of work. They are set out in the agreement before any work begins.

What happens after an initial conversation?

If there looks to be a good fit, we follow up with the details needed to propose an engagement: the arrangement, responsibilities, and commercial terms. Nothing starts until both sides have agreed them.
